3. Leadinfo – Lead generation service
We use the lead generation service of Leadinfo B.V., based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. This tool identifies business visits to our website based on IP addresses and shows us publicly available information, such as company names or addresses.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) in gaining insight into which companies visit our website, in support of our commercial activities. Leadinfo exclusively identifies companies based on business IP addresses and does not identify individual persons. The processing is therefore limited and proportionate, with an available opt-out for visitors.
In addition, Leadinfo places two first-party cookies to evaluate user behaviour on our website: _li_id (retained for two years) and _li_ses (current session only). The tool also processes domains from form submissions (e.g. “leadinfo.com”) to correlate IP addresses with companies and improve services.
More information about Leadinfo is available at www.leadinfo.com. On the page www.leadinfo.com/en/opt-out you have an opt-out option. In the event of an opt-out, your data will no longer be registered by Leadinfo.
4. With whom do we share your data?
We do not send your personal data in an identifiable manner to third parties if this is not required to provide the Services, without your explicit consent.
We may engage external processors to provide you with the Website and/or Services. We ensure that third-party processors may only process your personal data on our behalf and on our written instructions. We guarantee that all external processors are selected with due care so that we can rely on the security and integrity of your personal data.
5. Where do we process your data?
We and our external processors will only process your identifiable personal data within the EEA. We may transfer your anonymised and/or aggregated data to organisations outside the EEA. If such a transfer takes place, we will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to guarantee the security and integrity of your personal data, and that all rights relating to personal data that you may enjoy under applicable mandatory law are guaranteed.
6. How do we process your data?
Your personal data will only be processed for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy or until such time as you withdraw your consent to the processing thereof. Please note that the withdrawal of consent may mean that you are no longer able to use the Website and/or Services in whole or in part.
We will take the appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your personal data safe from unauthorised access or theft and from accidental loss, tampering or destruction. Access by our staff or by the staff of our external processors is only possible on a need-to-know basis and is subject to strict confidentiality obligations. You understand, however, that the duty of care for security and protection is an obligation of best efforts only, which can never be guaranteed.
7. How long do we retain your data?
Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the service provided. We retain your data for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which they are collected and processed, and for as long as they are needed to comply with our statutory, contractual and legal obligations and to meet our commercial operational activities.
8. What are your rights?
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights with regard to your personal data: the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing. Where the processing is based on our legitimate interest (such as with Leadinfo), you have the right to object at any time.
You have the right to request access to all personal data we process about you. Requests for access that are manifestly submitted with a view to causing inconvenience or harm to us will not be processed.
