How does electric charging work?

Find a charging station nearby via the Powerland app on your smartphone (Android & iOS)
Plug your car's charging cable into the charging station
Hold your Powerland charging card in front of the scanner. Charging starts and your cable is locked.
When your car is fully charged, hold the charging card in front of the scanner again and your charging cable will automatically unlock. Ready to go!

Payment methods and invoicing

Our users can choose from different payment methods: for example, post-payment with subscription, e.g. free Powerland charging card (which can be bundled with other services), pre-paid cards for charging, for sale at petrol stations. (accessible with RFID cards or the app).

At DC fast chargers and ultra fast chargers you can additionally pay with Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Maestro.

Powerland's billing processes all recorded charging sessions and links them to registered users or payers to automatically create billing data for billing, taking into account all relevant contracts, prices in the system and VAT. The custom API integration ensures seamless exchange of billing data with your accounting service.
