In 2021, Knokse Bandencentrale installed an ultrafast charger with a payment terminal on the Natiënlaan in Knokke, together with two 22 kW AC charging points. An upgrade followed in March 2024: the first fast charger was taken back and replaced with an Alpitronic HYC300 with two charging cables.
Charging technology evolves quickly. After three years, a fast charger from 2021 is no longer the latest generation. By taking back the old charger and replacing it on site, Knokke gained a modern fast charger without having to make room for a second machine.
