About Autogroep Raes
Autogroep Raes is a well-established name in the region, with dealerships in Bruges, Ostend and Oostkamp. As more and more customers switch to electric, the group wanted to offer them, as well as visitors and passers-by, a proper charging solution: a quick top-up during a short visit, or a relaxed charge for those staying longer.
The challenge: charging for everyone, across two sites
A dealership welcomes a wide variety of visitors every day. One customer wants a quick charge during a short visit, while another leaves their car for a few hours of servicing. On top of that, passers-by need to be able to use public charge points, with easy access and accurate billing.
Autogroep Raes was therefore looking for a partner who would not only supply and install the chargers, but also take over the management of the public charge points, at two Bruges sites at once.
The approach: one partner for two sites
At both sites, Powerland combined DC fast chargers with AC charge points, so every visitor can find the charging option that suits the length of their stay. As CPO, Powerland manages the public charge points at both locations through a single platform. This gives Autogroep Raes one point of contact for its entire charging infrastructure.
What we delivered
4 alpitronic HYC 50 fast chargers
Four 50 kW alpitronic HYC 50 fast chargers, spread across both sites, for drivers who want a quick top-up.
60 kW Efacec QC45 fast charger
A 60 kW Efacec QC45 with 2 DC connectors and 1 AC connector.
21 AC charge points
12 Etrel Inch Pro chargers and 4 Etrel Inch Duo chargers at 22 kW, plus the AC connector on the Efacec fast charger. Together they provide 21 AC charge points, ideal for drivers parking longer who want to charge at a lower rate. Most of them are open to the public.
An integrated system
The charging infrastructure connects seamlessly to the existing solar panels, so the group makes the most of its own green energy.
Powerland as CPO
As Charge Point Operator, Powerland takes care of the full management of the public charge points: billing, access management, monitoring and maintenance.
