The Alpitronic HYC1000 is the flagship model of the Hypercharger range: a distributed fast charging system that delivers up to 1 MW and charges up to 8 vehicles simultaneously. With its modular architecture and exceptional efficiency, the HYC1000 sets the benchmark for large-scale charging infrastructure — at charging hubs, motorway locations and heavy logistics sites.

Unmatched power, intelligently distributed

The HYC1000 operates as a distributed system: a central PowerCabinet intelligently distributes power across multiple dispensers. With a granularity of 62.5 kW per step and a maximum output power of 1,000 kW, the system offers a level of flexibility no fixed charging point can match. The output voltage ranges from 150 to 1,000 V, making the HYC1000 compatible with all current and future electric vehicles — including heavy trucks and buses via the MCS interface.

Cooled cables — available for both CCS2 and MCS — ensure maximum power even under intensive use, with reduced wear and minimal maintenance requirements.

Efficiency as standard

With a maximum energy efficiency of over 97.5%, the HYC1000 ranks among the best in its class. The power factor exceeds 0.99 at full load and total harmonic distortion (THDi) stays below 5% — making the system not only highly efficient but also grid-friendly.

User-friendly at scale

Each dispenser is equipped with a 10.1" touchscreen and physical buttons for a smooth user experience. The interface is available in 27 languages and supports payment by credit card, debit card or QR code. The system is also RFID-compatible (ISO 14443A/B, ISO 18092) and offers extensive remote management options, including diagnostics and over-the-air software updates.

Built for what's next

The modular architecture of the HYC1000 makes expansion straightforward: additional dispensers connect to the existing PowerCabinet to increase charging capacity without major infrastructure works. The system supports both OCPP 1.6 J and 2.0.1, and the MCS dispenser is prepared for ISO 15118-20 for fully automated charging sessions.

The robust enclosure (IP54, IK10) is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, at temperatures from -30 °C to +55 °C and at altitudes up to 2,500 m. The HYC1000 is the ideal solution for charging hubs, motorway locations, ports and logistics platforms preparing for the next generation of electric transport.

Questions about
charging infrastructure

Not necessarily. Whether you need to upgrade your electricity connection depends on your current connection value (single-phase or three-phase), the desired charging capacity and how many other consumers are running simultaneously. In many cases an upgrade is not needed at all: with dynamic load balancing the charging station automatically adjusts the power based on available capacity, so your fuse box never gets overloaded. Combine charging infrastructure with battery storage or solar panels and the available capacity is used even smarter. Powerland first examines your electrical installation for every project - at home or at work - and only then advises whether an upgrade is necessary.

Yes. With linked charging pass and OCPP backend, consumption is automatically settled.

This depends on staff, visitors, fleet and peak hours. Powerland simulates the optimal mix of AC and DC.
